Today Eat Bulaga’s Juan for All, All for Juan was here in Pateros. Our family loves the portion of Eat Bulaga’s “Juan for All, All for Juan” that we make a time just to watch it altogether and laugh at Jose, Wally and Paulo’s punchline and today they are here at Aguho Pateros to give our Barangay a chance to win cash prizes and some gift packs products from their sponsors.
Early this morning, I went out for my 3k run, I find it kinda funny because I saw a lot of people outside the streets, and it’s pretty unusual if you’ll see many people in the streets at 6AM in the morning.
1st reason – makakakita ng artista (well, lets admit that we, Filipinos loves to see celebrity, and we sometimes go gaga over them.)
3rd reason – to win
Sharing this photo of a girl holding a banner asking for help/money for her school supplies.
In my opinion, I felt sad for the little girl, definitely it was safe to accused that she was used by her mother to beg for money, which in fact, as a mother, you have to do your best to give your child a good future and environment to live in, instead of teaching your child to beg for money, why not be a role model and teach your child a good character to be a hardworking individual even at an early age.
Anyways, we had so much fun in the EB’s version of game called “BRING ME”, wherein we won cash prize and 2 bags of Tiger energy biscuit.
The mechanics of Eat Bulaga’s version of “Bring Me”:
1.) Watch EB and listen to EB host on what to bring (for Pateros Episode – Male are asked to bring a “Kulambo”, luckily di pa namin naitapon yung mga kulambo, it was so fun, ang bilis tumakbo nila Nhel and Michael as well as yung mga kapitbahay namin.)
2.) Make sure to have with you, 2 Tiger energy biscuits and 3 bottled water (empty) – they will re-cycled the collected bottles in making school chairs, it was a good thing to know right?
3.) You have to place your self in the numbers provided from 1-100 (so meaning 100 persons are sure to win a consolation prize of Php500 plus tiger energy gift pack), numbers are spread all over the streets and you are lucky if your number will be picked-out because you will win Php10,000 plus bonus cash prize. Unluckily Michael and Nhel’s number was not picked-out.
Picture of my cousin holding his prizes for the “Bring Me” game. Yey may pang merienda at pang-ulam na kami..lol and in-fairness sa ulam namin kanina, liempo, pork bbq, at inihaw na bangus, and take note may 2 family size pizza pa c/o Michael for our midnight snack, bukod sa nanalo sya ng cash prize, natanggap na din nya yung sahod nya, thanks Keng for the treat.
People of Barangay Aguho enjoyed the 2 hour show. The atmosphere in our place is full of joy – ang babaw ng kaligayahan namin, I must say, but we don’t care, basta we had so much fun talaga. Especially when we found out na yung nanalo sa “Sugod-Bahay” is deserving to win, GOD is so good and fair, na inadya nyang manalo yung nangangailangan, syempre happy kami sa kapit-bahay namin, they deserve it since they really need money sa pang tuition ng daughter nya, at may sakit pa yung ilaw ng tahanan, thanks be to GOD and the good thing pa is that Eat Bulaga will shoulder the tuition fee of the daughter.
As for me, there is nothing wrong in joining any contest or any gameshow if it is just for FUN and if there’s an OPPORTUNITIES like what happened to our Barangay, we are chosen to be one of the lucky Barangay to win cash prizes, etc., so why not grab the opportunity diba? I think it will become wrong if you depend your life into it, to a point na everyday of your life, nasa pilahan ka ng lotto or any gameshows. A lot of people thinks that game show are the best way to overcome poverty but it’s not. We should NOT depend our lives in GAMESHOWS, the worst thing that could happen to a person is to “leave everything to gameshow”. So I’m leaving my blog with my favorite Chinese proverbs saying,
“Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.
To GOD be the glory
Love, love, love,
It’s me CLARE
