Clearance For My Departure

Nhel and I woke up early in the morning for 2 consecutive days na, to finish my clearance needed for my departure abroad. Well, mabilis lang naman, then after I finished my clearance, we went home @ Cembo Makati to visit my mother in law, nakatulog nga ako kasi ang sakit ng ulo ko. 

Anyway, I hate Lady Gaga, super goose bumps talaga yung naramdaman ko when my kuya told me about Lady Gaga’s song “Alejandro” that talks about blasphemy. She is an Illuminati. I did not finish the article that he showed us, ngiiiiiiiiiii, nakakapangilabot, sorry for all the lady gaga’s fan out there but her songs really talk about something.

 Below is the meaning of “Alejandro” based on the article I read.

              Alejandro means “mans defender and protector” (GOD)

             Fernando means”ardent for peace” (Jesus)

             Roberto means”bright or shiningly framed” (Holy spirit)

             Babe is the same as child

Musically carrying the vibe of underground New York discos, the song talks about love, fame and sexuality which was the central theme of the album.

Enough about Gaga, because of the article I read, the song Alejandro repeatedly recalling into my head, gosh, so what I did, I have sung praising songs such as Lead Me Lord.

Pre-Departure Medical and Departure Briefing

Super tired today. I did my pre-departure medical, and it finished in less than 30min.  I just gave my stool, got a sample of my blood for a pregnancy test and had a chicken pox vaccination. Grabe naman the vaccination, ang sakit, even yung sa pagkuha ng dugo sakin, ang sakit din. Anyway after the pre-dep medical, the agent briefed me about the do’s and don’ts, just like in PDOS topic, paulit-ulit? Umabot kami ng 6PM, marami din kasing pinirmahan. Well, I understand that they are just making sure that everything will be okay on the day of our departure and our stay in Taiwan. 

Hayyyy, ngayon pa lang I feel homesick na 😦 You know what? I cried, tulo lang ng tulo yung luha ko, I cried until I can’t breath na. I cried in front of Kuya and Nhel, they want to call Mama, but I said NO, I don’t want mama to see me crying, kasi mas mahina loob non sakin, I want her to see me happy, para di mabigat sa kanya, sounds dramatic? Oh yes, because I am her baby girl and always be her little girl kahit may asawa na ako. I am the youngest in the family that is why it is hard for my Mama and even for me, I always depend on Mama in everything I do, body gestures ko pa lang, alam na nya na may problema ako. I pray to God for strength. Amen. Goodnight, sleepy na ako.

Lunch Date With My SSG Girlfriends

I am happy to see my SSG girlfriends today –  Ann and Regine, and my new-found friend Jing. How I miss them, especially every lunch time, wherein we talked about everything under the sun, different topics compacted in one hour, so happy to finally get to see them again after March 21 of this year. It’s been almost 4mons since then, and so many have changed for the past months. Si Ann, uber sexy na, naks naman. Regarding Metrobank Card, so many have changed like SSG move out from 5th floor to 3rd floor, the workloads, the new bosses, etc. etc.

Shopping With My Dear Mama

So happy to bond again with my Dear Mama. We went shopping @ Market Market. I really love the clothes I bought @ Fashion Market2x some is cheap and some are quite expensive for me, but it’s worth it naman, because it is really fit and apt with me, and it suits my taste. After we shopped for our clothes we ate @ Chowking Market Market, so happy to have a chit chat time alone with my Mom. I will definitely miss my Mom when I finally depart from her to work outside the Philippines and praying/hoping for a greener pasture abroad.   I will miss how she takes care of me, her early sermon, hehehe, basta everything about Mama,  hayyyyy. This will be the longest time I will be away from her and my family, so help me God.

Preparation For My Departure

Nhel and I went to Market Market for the following reasons:

1. We bought luggage, toiletries and other necessary stuff  in preparation for my departure.

2. Movie date with Nhel, we watched Transformers 3.

3. We accompany Kuya Jerald in buying his ostentatious “Kobe Shoes” at Nike Store Serendra.

And lastly;

4. An early dinner date with my sister-in-law Jayssa, we ate @ Sbarro.

Phase 2 Medical

* It’s kinda funny because, I alarmed my phone at exactly 5:30AM this morning to attend my Phase 2 Medical and when my phone alarmed, I bargain for another 5min because I am still sleepy, so I pressed the  stop button (confident enough that I will wake up after 5 minutes, and lesson learned – I must press the SNOOZE button not the STOP) but I am dead wrong, instead of 5:35AM, Nhel and I woke up at around 7AM, wew, if Nhel did not wake me up to, I will not be able to attend my phase 2 medical in the morning. However,  I am very lucky because I am expecting that my Phase2 medical will last for 4 hours, but I am wrong again, it was so fast that it lasted only less than 30min. They just collected my urine for a drug test and pregnancy test, and I did a vaccine for anti measles, anti mumps and anti pox – that’s it and after that we went to a photographer for my visa picture. I am happy that I finished my phase 2 medical and my visa picture in 2 hours only. Reality bites – I am a few steps away living on my own and leaving my family, friends and my homeland for quite a long time. I am really praying that Nhel will go after me, hopefully by August, God willing. And I am still asking for guidance, protection, strength, happiness, joy and peace of mind from God. Amen.

* Sad Clare 😦 – two things – 1. I saw an old man lying on the street. He is a beggar, grimy, super exhausted, has a skeletal physique, maybe because of no food to eat, and I couldn’t afford to look at him, I was in grief,  I don’t know what to do and the sad thing was that I did not do anything to make him in a better place.  Actually, I don’t know if he is still alive, coz when I looked at him (a quick looked), I did not see him breathing, and I felt ashamed of myself seeing an old man and me – doing nothing.  However, I am happy because there was still a “SAMARITAN” whose willing to reach into the man to help, a simple gesture for giving the old man something to eat. If I can still picture out, she was waking up the old man to give the food, but still the old man can’t talk nor move his body and get up, he was dying, literally. I ask for forgiveness from God for not doing a thing and all I can do is to pray for that old man and pray for the Samaritan. I know God is happy right now for the good deed of the woman. Mabuhay Ka.

2. It was like in the movie, seeing an act wherein there was a snatcher and the victim was running after him for her bag, hayyyyy, bad people are all over the place, so be careful everyone.

* After my medical we went to Nhel’s family in Makati, because today is Dick’s departure to Saudi, luckily we have reached him at home – his flight schedule is at 7PM tonight.

* Kuya Jerald and I had a bonding today. We went to Nike’s store @ Serendra The Fort to buy a Kobe’s shoes. He liked the light gray with a touch of blue on the lining but no size 9 1/2 , so the salesman informed us that there will be another new Kobe model arriving this coming Friday, so we will come back on Friday to buy one for my Kuya and he treated me @ Starbucks Market Market, thanks again bro.

* I am kinda feel weak at this very moment, actually I am expecting it, because my doctor – the one who did my vaccination told me that one of the effects of the vaccination will be high in temperature, and again, I am lucky and blessed that I don’t experience it, only I feel weak tonight, and I will be okay. That’s for sure.

Typhoon Falcon

Be safe everyone, let’s all pray that Typhoon Falcon will go away ASAP. Anyhow, I just stayed all day here in my room without Nhel, hayyy I am missing him a lot, sa Sunday pa kami magkikita. I miss you Nhel, specially today na malamig, wala akong kayakap 😦 You owe me one ha, when you come back hug me the whole day ha, hehehe.

Early this morning I checked my friendster account (hahaha – wala kasing magawa) and happy to read all the good Testimonials written by my friends about me, anyway, Friendster has “Testimonials” feature, where you can write a personal testimony for your friends, sikat na sikat to before, if I can still remember,  mas madaming testimonials mas masaya, pagandahan ng testimony, bolahan to the max, hehehe. Ako nga kinakarir ko ang pagtetestimony. Nakakatawa nga, naalala ko lang, someone asked me to do him a testimony, and I answered him back “gawan mo muna ako, hehehe”.

Clarence has always been my best friend since I have stayed here in this neighborhood…. Since our childhood until we’re grown ups now…. It might have been a long time since we have talk to each other but still, I’m not that far from her house because we’re just a few inches away from one’s home! I have never got to see this girl though that much since we do have our own business or jobs… And until now I haven’t keep track of what’s going on with Clara especially with her career path and love life! Damn miss a lot of action… Well then, at least we both achieved what we’ve been hoping for when we’re just kids…. to graduate a college degree and to earn and also to get what we want…. Happy 10 monthsary sau baby sana more animonthsary come at sana wag kang magbabago at tatandaan mo always na mahal na mahal kita sobra higit pa sa life ko promise at lagi lang ako nandito para sau at ung family ko. I also cooked “Ginataang Tambakol” for our dinner, wow naka 1 1/2 rice ako, sayang yung 23 minutes na work out ko kanina, binawi ko sa pagkain, hahaha, sarap kasi ng luto ko eh (love your own, lol).

I am sad din tonight kasi natalo sa weigh in ang blue team, huhuhu 😦 basta blue team padin ako, go go go blue team.

PDOS

I already finished my PDOS =Pre-Departure Orientation Seminar. All OFW who will work abroad either in Landbase or Seabase or applicants who qualify for a permanent address abroad must attend PDOS before leaving the country, it is compulsory, for the reason that PDOS certificate should be presented in the Airport on departure, if  fail to present it to the Labor Assistance Center, they will automatically deny you to enter your country destination.

They also tackles Travel regulations, Cultural differences, Settlement concerns, Employment and social security concerns, and rights and obligations of Filipino immigrants/OFW, how to handle home sickness, the pros and cons of working abroad, some ways how to handle your income effectively, things to bring to the airport upon departure, Departure points-what to show-what to get, do’s and dont’s, etc. etc.

Hayyyy I am really a few steps away from going abroad and honestly it makes me sad 😦 I should be happy right? but why am I sad? **Big Sigh**, it’s because I will miss my family, this will be the longest time that I will be away from them. Positivity positivity positivity, kaya ko to, with the help of God.

I am praying na sana sumunod na kagad sakin si Nhel doon, please Lord.

Phase 1 Medical and Contract Signing

Nhel and I woke up early this morning, he accompanied me on my Phase 1 Medical and contract signing for my application abroad. This is it na talaga, I am now few steps away from reaching my goals for myself and my family, so help me GOD.

My phase 1 medical includes:

* X-ray

* Medical Laboratory (urine, stool and blood letting sample checking – kinabahan ako sa pagkuha ng dugo, being a Hematophobia – I can’t afford to look at bloods. )

* Dental

* Psycho Test and Abstract reasoning test

* Optical

* PE

All the six check-ups mention above consumed my time for 4 hours, Nhel being so kind, patiently waiting outside the Clinic, thanks babe and I love you.

After my Phase 1 medical, Nhel and I Immediately went to my processing agent because I already signed my contract and tomorrow I will attend PDOS, hayyy maaga na naman gigising kasi 8AM start ng Pre-departure Orientation Seminar.

So all-in-all wholeday akong nag-asikaso ng dapat asikasuhin – Medical and Signing of Contract. Nung nakauwi na ako, I tutored my nephew and we lasted for 4 hours doing his assignment, hayyy, gamit na gamit ako ngayon, for sure masarap tulog ko. Good night guys.

Tentative Flight: July 11, 2011

Got a call from my processing agent, informing me to complete all the papers needed for the processing of my visa and tentative schedule for my flight is on July 11, whew, it was a mix emotion, uber happy because finally the waiting is over and sad because definitely I will miss my family and friends here and one thing that I am kinda sad is that, di kami sabay ni Nhel sa pag-alis, God willing baka August pa sya or September. My battlefield will be homesickness, so ngayon pa lang, I am asking for guidance from GOD, to give me more strength, happiness, joy and peace of mind. Kaya ko to sa tulong ni Lord, Amen. Thanks again God for the good news and blessings.
