Happy 1st Wedding Anniversary

Happy 1st wedding anniversary or Paper anniversary, or whatever you may call it, to my ever loving hubby  – Mr. Jhoenel Gesta.

Me and my hubby was so happy to celebrate our 1st wedding anniv together. Time fly so fast, isn’t it? It’s been a year since we exchanged our vows to each other and I still can’t quite believe its been a whole year!

Let me share with you our photo as a reminder of the beautiful day that we shared with family this time lasts year. It’s just a simple civil wedding ceremony attended only by our immediate family but it was a big and special day for me and Nhel, when we became one as a flesh. I can’t believed that I married the kindest, responsible and lovable man in this whole damn world. (naks – babe where’s my gift?? lol.)

To tell you honestly, I really wanted to celebrate it out of town, but as much as I wanted to be that way, it didn’t happened as expected because we just went out of town days ago when we went to Pangasinan for a reunion and for some reason na din siguro, medyo tight din ang budget for something more important that will come our way so soon, excited much for that, God willing.

Actually, Nhel reminds me that whether we celebrate it in turo-turo or any fine dining resto in the Metro, or be it in five star hotel, out of town or out of the country, what’s important is the bond, the togetherness and the thought of it (well he has a point, huh). But we planned to go to SM MOA and he said Sky is the limit daw, treat nya 🙂

Since we are not celebrating it the way I want it to be, I wanted to do him a favor, a surprise for our special day.  I woke up at 5:30 in the morning because I prepared and cooked his super duper favorite dish which is the Filipino style spaghetti. Well, I put lot’s of LOVE and passion on preparing and cooking of that dish, kaya naman super sarap daw ng niluto ko (hehehe, taste it and see for yourselves, so you’ll know – yabang ba? nagsasabi lang ng totoo 🙂

A date with Hubby – wherever and whenever you go, Ill promise I am with you

On our way to SM Mall of Asia

Let me share with you my favorite dress I bought @ Metro Market Market. I love it so much, my perfect choice for a perfect occasion.

Inside the Mall

Nhel’s favorite hang-out – Toy kingdom. He loves collecting animated figures. We have a customized cabinet designed by him for his collections, a bunch of animated figures in our room, he’s just one kid at heart I might say, while me, I love stuff toy naman.

@ SM Cinema, we watched THOR in 3D

@ TimeZone – we did videoke, naka 4 songs ako (feeling a recording star, LOL)

After my concert. ROFL

Nhel while playing visual games

@ The Bay – sumusunod sa galaw ang buhok ko. We talked everything and anything under the sun, while looking at the lofty sea.

After strolling and the long talks, we are so hungry that we pigged out @ Mann Hann. I really love the food and will definitely come back to pig out again, LOL.

Outside the mall, I saw a sign 🙂 a sign that caught my attention and made me looked for my digicam and took a shot of it.

On our way home.

What a great way to end this night, I had so much fun. Being with my husband is always an ecstasy feeling. We had a great time not just today but everyday that we are together we are always head-over-heels in love with each other. I am so much thankful to GOD for giving me a husband like Jhoenel, I can’t ask for more. I am looking forward to spend my life to him in the next coming years, God willing. Just so happy that we are now celebrating our first wedding anniversary and counting to forever.

My message to my hubby – (to the readers – sorry if it sounds mushy, I am just in love. ^_^)

“I love you Nhel, I will take care of you – NO MATTER WHAT. I will make you happy, you know naman that it puts me in a better mood if I see you happy db?, so I’ll do anything not to give you headache because of my immaturity, hehehe, umamim din ako. I’ll try my very best to be submissive to you. Once again I love you and Happy anniversary again”.

Let me end my blog with my favorite verse in the bible about husband and wives but focusing more on wives..

Ephesians 5:22-33

Wives, submit to your husbands as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything.Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless. In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. After all, no one ever hated his own body, but he feeds and cares for it, just as Christ does the church — for we are members of his body. “For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.”[This is a profound mystery — but I am talking about Christ and the church. However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.

Colossians 3:18

Wives, submit to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord

1 Peter 3:1-6

In the same way, you wives must accept the authority of your husbands, even those who refuse to accept the Good News. Your godly lives will speak to them better than any words. They will be won overYour beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as braided hair and the wearing of gold jewelry and fine clothes. Instead, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight . That is the way the holy women of old made themselves beautiful. They trusted God and accepted the authority of their husbands. For instance, Sarah obeyed her husband, Abraham, when she called him her master. You are her daughters when you do what is right without fear of what your husbands might do.

1 Timothy 2:9-10

I also want women to dress modestly, with decency and propriety, not with braided hair or gold or pearls or expensive clothes, but with good deeds, appropriate for women who profess to worship God.

1 Timothy 3:11

In the same way, their wives are to be women worthy of respect, not malicious talkers but temperate and trustworthy in everything.

To GOD be the glory.

Love, Love, Love,

It’s me Clare 🙂
